    November Pack Meeting

    Event Overview:
    Scouts will be working on different Scout Skills. We will have stations for Knot Tying, First Aid, Tent Pitching, Fire Building, and Leather Working. In addition we will be having a Dutch Oven Cooking Contest for the adults.
     
    Contact Ralf Emerson if you would like to participate in the Dutch Oven cook off.

    October Campout Recap

    Thank you to everyone that came out to the event this past weekend.  We had a blast and more importantly the boys did too.  The dinner was a big hit with many of the adults and children.  Thanks to Rob Lyons for pulling that together.

    The afternoon was filled with making marshmallow guns, nature hikes and basic bike maintenance.  Janet Hampton along with Tim Dillman and many other adult leaders and parents helped to make those events fun for all.

    The night was capped with a campfire ceremony lead by Tim Dillman and Ralf Emerson.  The event started with seeding our fire with ashes from previous scout fires that took place all over the world.  This was followed by skits and songs for everyone including some stellar knock-knock jokes.

    For those that camped overnight, they woke to hot chocolate, coffee and a pancake breakfast sure to make IHOP jealous.

    Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed the experience.  Our next pack meeting will be November 17th at Liberty United Methodist Church.  More to come in the upcoming days on this event.
